Let's meet the victims of the war crimes perpetuated by Israel, and covered up by the mainstream mass media.
Jamila Al-Habash

This is Jamila Al-Habash. On January 4, 2009, Jamila (14) and her younger siblings and cousins were playing on the rooftop of their family home when an unmanned Israeli drone aircraft fired a missile at the children, killing her sister, Shaza (10) and her cousin Isra (11) immediately. As a result of injuries sustained during the attack, Jamila lost both her legs above the knee. Her mother, Hala recounts:
“The first thing I saw was Jamila without her legs, it was like she had been butchered, cut like meat. Her left leg was thrown about 100 metres, we gave it to the ambulance later…. Isra, I saw her brain. Then I saw Shaza, she was cut through her hip to her stomach. Her leg was gone, she was dead. I am a teacher, I take care of the health of the children if they are hurt. I did the same with Jamila, I told her not to worry, that I would take her to hospital, that I would get an ambulance.”
Jamila Al-Habash is the epitome of Palestinian resilience. She is my hero.
Another victim here.
Farah

Some scars never heal.
This is Farah. She is 3-years-old. Her tiny body was burned by white phosphourus during Operation Cast Lead three years ago. Farah survived miraculously after treatment in Egypt. Unfortunately, her mother did not make it. She died due to infections of her wounds 3 months after the massacre. Today Farah is cared for by her grandmother.
Children like Farah inspire us to keep fighting for justice every single day. Their struggle is our struggle.
Imagine a foreign force occupies YOUR LAND. Then the foreign force steals your resource, builds settlements for its own citizens on YOUR LAND, and drive you out from your homes.
Imagine that when you defend yourself to get your land back, the mainstream media brands you as terrorists.
Welcome to the Occupied and Stolen lands of Palestine. Occupied and stolen by none other than Zionist Israel, funded by Terrormerica, in complicity with the Mainstream Mass Media.
These are the war crimes that go unnoticed and unpunished.

Unfortunately, your's is a tiny voice in a large ocean of western propaganda. This western propaganda is further assisted, as if it needs assistance, in Singapore by a very pro western media.
What makes your voice even tinier is that its a Muslim voice. Naturally, there will be an assumption of bias towards the Palestinians in your blog...
I read it and I symphatise, but then, I am also a Muslim. While I make no apology for being so, I fear, the same assumptions apply to me as they do to you.
Fortunately, there are humanists (Noj-Muslim) out there who choose to highlight the plight of the Palastinians.
I do believe, however, that to counter the overwhelming perception of millitancy that has been cast upon them by the media, the Palestinians should lay down their arms and emulate the policies of Ghandi. The Media will no longer be able to label them millitant or violent and will be forced to take up the underdogs cause, if for nothing else then to sell news. The outcome of this can only be good.
Ghandi could afford to do that because he had about 1 billion Indians, Pakistanis, Bengladeshis (who were all one united people who wanted the Brits out) then. The Palestinians are just a few million.
Another point is that there is this warped mainstream media that keeps portraying Palestinians who are armed, when the majority are rock throwing civvies. Yes, some are armed and even militant. But how many?
The issue is about humanity, atrocities and hypocrisy. The world can argue what it likes. Society can say what it likes. Anyone can say what he/she likes.
But the truth cannot be changed. Israel has been committing war crimes for decades and the Western powers and NATO are complicit in that they stand idly.
